Widmann size chart – kids
How to measure:
- Chest – measure around the fullest part of the chest.
- Waist – measure around the narrowest part of the waist.
- Hips – measure around the widest part of the hips.
- Height – measure without shoes.
Widmann kids costume sizes equal the child's height in centimetres. Measure the child's height and choose the nearest larger size.
If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Last Christmas season we shipped more of this children’s elf costume than any other of our Christmas costumes: 30 sets. For parents it is convenient because the box contains the whole elf outfit from hat to boot covers, and there is nothing to match from the wardrobe.

The jacket is green with a scalloped red collar, the hat is tall and red, and the red boot covers with white pompoms are simply pulled on over the child’s shoes. Sizes 104, 116, 128, 140 and 158 show height in centimetres, so the same model suits both a kindergartner and a fifth-grader who had the elf role in the school performance.
Measure the child without shoes. If the height falls between two sizes, take the larger one: in early December kindergarten halls are often chilly, and a thin jumper fits under the looser jacket. The pointed ears are not included in the set and can be bought separately: elf ears in skin colour.
