Christmas costumes for kids for kindergarten and school parties

From late November to mid-December most of the costumes we send out are elves, gnomes and forest animals for kindergarten Christmas parties. They have their own sections: elf and gnome costumes and forest animal costumes. If your child has been given a different part, you will most likely find it below.

Snowman and Olaf costumes

The kids snowman costume (€30.90) includes a jacket trimmed with faux fur and big buttons, trousers, a hat, a scarf and a nose. We currently have sizes 128, 140 and 158, so it suits school-age children better than toddlers. For the youngest, 86-92 cm tall, there is the Olaf costume (€36.90): a jumpsuit and a head mask. Let your child try the mask on at home a few days before the party so they get used to it. If mum wants to join the show, there is also a women's snowman costume: dress, hat, scarf and belt.

Snow Maiden costumes

We have two kinds of Snow Maiden costumes for women. The white Snow Maiden (Eskimo) dress (€34.90), trimmed with fluff, has a hood and boot covers, while the red Christmas Snow Maiden dress (€30.90) comes with a black adjustable belt and a hat with a white pompom, in sizes S to XL. The first suits a winter fairy tale, the second looks good next to Santa. For girls we suggest the Snow Maiden (gnome girl) costume at €16.90: a red dress and a cap for heights from 109 to 134 cm.

Angels, shepherds, princesses and wizards

For the Nativity scene

For little girls there is the angel costume (€21.90) with a dress, wings and a halo, in size 92-98. For a shepherd we have the shepherd costume (€22.90): a tunic with a long vest, a belt and a headdress. The staff is not included, so you will need to find one at home. For the part of Mary there is the Virgin Mary costume for girls (€22.90) with a cloak, belt, headdress and halo. Angel costumes for boys and women are in the angels category.

Princesses

The princess dress with tiara (€20.90) is a long dress with light purple and pink accents, available in sizes 128 and 140. After the Christmas party it can be worn to a birthday too. More dresses are in the princess and fairy costumes section.

Wizards

The wise wizard costume (€27.90) is a long deep blue cloak with silver stars and a hat, in sizes 140 and 158. The staff and beard are not included, but you can order a beard with it: the white beard with moustache and eyebrows costs €8.90. A cheaper option is the one-size wizard costume at €15.90: a hat and a 75 cm long cloak that works for boys and girls.

Frequently asked questions

When should I order so the costume arrives before the party?

We dispatch orders the same or the next working day, and a parcel to an LP parcel locker usually arrives within 1-2 working days (€2.99, free from €49). LP courier delivery to your door costs €5.95. Parcel lockers are overloaded in December and parcels can be delayed, so order at least a week before the kindergarten party. Full terms are on the delivery page.

Which size should I choose for a growing child?

Go by height, not age: for most kids costumes the size matches height in centimetres, and many product pages have a size chart. If your child is between two sizes, take the larger one. Kindergarten halls are chilly in December, the costume is often worn over a sweater, and slightly long sleeves are easy to roll up.

Can I return a costume that does not fit?

Yes, unused items in their original packaging with labels can be returned within 14 days of receipt. The procedure is described on the returns page. So try the costume on as soon as it arrives, not on the morning of the party.
