How to choose a party theme

A good theme is one every guest can put together in an evening without sewing anything. Start with the crowd and the venue: at a milestone birthday where the guests grew up on that music, the 80s and 90s work well, at a company party gangsters or a 1920s soirée, outdoors in summer Hawaii or a festival. In the invitation, give not only the theme but also the minimum, for example "at least a hat or glasses". That way even people who dislike costumes join in.

Most accessories - hats, glasses, moustaches, headbands - cost €10 or less, while a full costume is usually €20-40. For a big group it is often enough to give every guest one accessory and leave the full costume to the birthday person or the hosts.

Which size should I choose for a tracksuit?

Some of the 80s and disco tracksuits are unisex, so their sizes differ from the usual ones. For example, sizes S and M of the shiny tracksuit are recommended for women, L matches a men's M and XL a men's L, so men should go one size up. Size notes are in each product description.
